UK-wide projects

In order to support the assignment / project teams and clients in the region with all aspects of estimating, cost control, project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment, this role will effectively implement and support the Project Controls function within the region. We are searching for a proactive professional who will support the use of our well-established procedures and tools, encourage best practices, and drive continual progress. The role will prioritize serving both internal and external clients, and it might also call for a hands-on approach to delivering any or all project control functions within one or more UK-wide projects.

Governance Standard

Ownership and adherence to the Project Governance Standard at all levels, as well as enabling and confirming compliance with other pertinent international standards in the execution and related project control procedures, are essential components of this function. This position is essential to achieving operational excellence because it ensures operating discipline and collaborates with the SVP of the UK Business Group and the Head of Project Controls for EMEA to continuously improve operational and functional delivery.

DUTY

encourages and sustains the provision of excellent project controls throughout the UK company by lending support to the following initiatives.

Supervision of Project Execution:
  • In charge of providing planning, estimating, change control, cost management, and all related reporting to specific contracts in the United Kingdom.
  • In charge of overseeing the daily operations of Project Controls throughout the United Kingdom.
    support for the Continuous Improvement approach in the Operations and across the entire company Magnificence Operation
  • Encourage the use of project controls Knowledge across the Board for the Company
  • Determine weak points by overseeing project interventions and carrying out in-depth and peer reviews.
Activities for the proposal and launch:
  1. accountable for delivering pertinent bid answers and contributions.
  2. Presentations and client alignment meetings in support of identify and acquire operations.
  3. first resources for initial operations and bids.
  4. development of CEP/PCP.
  5. Implementing PC and system blueprints.
  6. arranging for the implementation of PBI reports.
Activities related to governance and assurance:

PC department representation at UK level assurance reviews
Make sure that Wood Corporate Project Controls policies, procedures, and system usage are followed. You are also in charge of creating project-specific processes that satisfy client and contract requirements.
Ensure project delivery in accordance with contractual obligations.
Make sure the Project Monthly Report (PMR) is released at the Business Unit (BU) level on schedule, accurately filled out, and approved.

Qualifications:
  • Degree qualification in relevant subject.
