WAPDA Introduction:

Pakistan Water and Power Development Authority is an autonomous and independent body of the Federal Government of Pakistan which is maintaining the utilities of Water and Power in the state. It was established after the independence through an act of parliament in 1958

WAPDA owns the biggest dams in Pakistan and actively controls and operates the demands and needs of the Pakistani Commercial and Domestic sectors. It is also planning on completing five more multi-dimensional dams to cover the growing needs of the power sector.

WAPDA’s goal is focused on developing neat and clean energy that is affordable for the citizens of Pakistan to bring down the power tariff keeping in view the consumers. The company has a self-governing network throughout the country.

WAPDA is hiring a Deputy Director Vigilance, Chairman WAPDA, Assistant Director HR&A, Director Progress, Assistant Director Legal & Litigation, Assistant Director Security, Security Officer, and Junior Clerk cum Computer Typist.

Both male and female applicants are eligible for this recruitment. FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, and Disabled Person quotas are briefly described in the WAPDA Career Advertisements.
